Child abuse refers to any form of harm meted on a child. Most Abuse to children is done by close relatives, caregivers and teachers in some cases. The person abusing the child could have the excuse th ... at they are parenting a child. The major signs of a physically abused child are burns, bruises, missing or bloody underwear, difficulty in urination and bowel movement. Other children have problems with sitting or walking, behaviour problems, sore genitals, or any unusual phenomenon (O'Brien, 2012). Child abuse is a worldwide problem with many countries unable to tame it. In some countries, children become soldiers at a very tender age. That means they get involved in conflicts they don’t have an idea on. In the United States, the centre for child abuse and neglect is responsible for checking any case of child abuse and taking appropriate measures on abusers of children. Although there is a concerted effort to curb child abuse, it still continues, and more effort is necessary to help prevent it. [Show More]
