It focuses on a wide range of social and environmental interventions, rather than just an individual's behaviour. Individuals and the community might benefit from health promotion if provisions and information are made available. People are more likely to take action to improve their health and wellbeing if they have control over circumstances that may have an influence on their health. Change4life is an example of a public health campaign aimed at reducing obesity. It gives people advice on how to live a better lifestyle.
