To desist from crime, a number of predictors have been highlighted that involve characteristics that are individually propagated and the kind of influences they may have on the individual such as being married and in a family, the environment associated with the family, being incarcerated and also the environment around school. Some of the adolescents start crime early in life and later stop it but in general it is important to ensure that the adolescents do not get into crime early.
