1. Introduction 1.1 Project goals and objectives The Getta Byte Software gave great insight on a god project charter. Due to their current manual system having a few challenges such as inaccuraci... es in their data entries as well as being time consuming. Inaccurate data can put the company at great risk and therefore, this current manual system must be replaced. Getta Byte Software Project main mission and goal is to replace their current manual billing system with an online software system that will enable a more accurate, easy, and fast data entry system. This upgrade in online software will enhance their data entry, conceive a dynamic update towards their receivables as well as having a potential savings of 25% of their total labor costs per month. As the project manager, along with the CFO, CEO, finance department, the billing department, and customer care services will work together to ensure the project is a success. The success of the project shall be attributed to the fact that the billing cycles are reduced to more than 30% each month, as well as having dynamic report generation and speed up transactions and response times. As per the project schedule, it is expected that the development and testing of the software be done by August 15 and the first pilot done by September 1.This gives the team plenty of time to work out any mishaps and ensure the system is working accurately and within the expectations and goals of the project. The final release of the software is to be done by September 10th. The project total budget is $ 250, 000. Getta Byte Software Project 1.2 Management of the project The project manager will be liable in carrying out the entire project. The project manager shall then appoint their team such as the human resource manager, the software engineer, the project coordinator and assigns objective tasks within the project. Each team member will be responsible in their area of operation and to ensure their task is completely efficiently and accurately in accordance with the project objectives. The project manager role shall be to oversee the entire process and therefore identifying the key stakeholders- such as the CEP, CFO, Finance, Billing and Customer Service is important within the project. Ensuring that there is great communication between the team will help establish a clear direction for the project and stable leadership roles from the project manager. Having a clear direction can ensure that the team is aware of the objections and goals of the project and everyone can give their best effort in completing a successful project. 1.3 Internal and external factors that may affect processes and procedure of the project As the project progresses and develops it is important to identify the potential internal and external factors that may pose risks and challenges to the project.
