Respiratory side effects: coughing, apnea, bronchospasm, laryngospasm, dyspnea, respirator depression. Effects increased by grapefruit juice, ETOH, barbiturates, opiate analgesics, verapamil, ritonavir, indinavir, fluvoxamine, protease inhibitors, kava, valerian.
