(CA) 3) non pt related tasks (CA) 4) Aide age? - ANSWER 1) PT can supervise ONE aide in patient related tasks -IMMEDIATE supervision at *ALL TIMES* (patient and non pt related tasks) the PT is in same facility and w/in *close proximity and must be immed available if needed* -no aide can indep perform PT related procedure -PT must perform *direct care w patient same day* if aide provide pt related tasks -PT responsible for all *PT related and non PT related tasks* aide performs 2) PT service delivered *directly* to the pt (ther ex) -pt related tasks can be performed only AFTER PT has performed initial eval -before aide can treat pt care *PT MUST eval and document aide's competency* in way that documentation is available to a member of PTBC or another PT upon request 3) tasks related to the *observation* of the patietn (transport, physcial support during gait/transfer traiing, housekeeping, clerical duties) 4) at least 18 yo ARTICLE 6 (Practice Act), 8 (CA): Suspension, Revocation and Reimbursement License 1) Who files PT license CA? 2) What is the scope of practice PTA?
