Teacher or parent can request an evaluation, but must have parent consent. FAPE (free appropriate public education) ✔✔Each child with a disability must be provided with an educational experience appropriate to their age at no cost. Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) ✔✔Students with disabilities will remain in the general education classroom to the greatest extent possible, with the fewest possible changes to day -to day routines. They are only removed from regular classes when the severity of their disability requires doing so in order for them to be educated appropriately.
