Quantitative Study Intervention Procedure The purpose of this research to investigate the effectiveness of high-frequency generators in the treatment of pressure injury in the elderly population with neurological disease (Almeida et al., 2017). This descriptive, exploratory, non-pharmacology intervention performed at a physical rehabilitation unit in ljui (Almeida et al., 2017). In this research, three elderly participants with pressure injuries intentionally chosen, and this treatment was done two times a week for a total of 16 applications (Almeida et al., 2017). They used a portable high-frequency generator which throws the spark with 100% intensity around the perimeter of the pressure injuries (Almeida et al., 2017). The pressure injuries identified by nurse researcher and she used the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel(NPUAP) and team physiotherapist performed electrical stimulation through the high-frequency generator (Almeida et al., 2017). Participants were notified before the intervention that they might feel discomfort during the procedure, which includes tingling and / or pruritus, also informed them that procedure might be interrupted for lesion cleanup with a physiological solution and change dressing (Almeida et al., 2017). This study covered all the ethical aspects of research and participants were informed about the research and signed TCLE (Almeida et al., 2017). This research does not have any control group.
