WDW-205H1: INTRODUCTION TO CRIMINOLOGY Take Home Test # Two: December 13th, 2021 STUDENT NAME: ___________________________________________________________; STUDENT NUMBER: _________________________... _______________________________; NAME OF TEACHING ASSISTANT: ___________________________________________; The test is due online at 6:00 pm, Friday, December 17th, 2021. It is worth 30% of your final grade. THIS IS A TEST. No extensions will be granted. If you can’t write the test during the allotted period, you will have to petition to write a make-up test. Late tests will be penalized 3% for each late day. Late penalties will begin to accrue after 6:00 pm on December 14th. Please contact Professor Wortley if your test will be late. Exam Information: This an open-book test. You may consult the textbook, lectures, or other academic peerreviewed material. You may not consult any person, other than the professor, about any aspect of the exam and you may not collaborate with anyone in relation to the exam. Each essay responses (Part B) must be five pages (double-spaced) or less. The exam only requires the textbook and course materials as evidence/support for responses, but you do have the option to use academic, peer-reviewed external sources if you so choose. If only using the textbook, no works cited page is required and no citations are required except for direct quotes from the textbook or cases where you are referring to specific studies or evidence. If using external sources, in-text citations and a works cited page in APA 6th edition are required. Please attach a works cited page to the end of the test. It will not count towards the word limit. This take-home exam should be completed within the standards of academic integrity, and the following Honour Statement must be included on the title page of your test responses: “I affirm my knowledge of the standards of the University of Toronto’s commitment to academic integrity and related policies outlining academic offences. I affirm that I have had no conversation regarding this exam with any persons other than the instructor. Further, I certify that the attached work represents my own thinking and I have not received any assistance (outside of the instructor). I also confirm that I will keep the content of this examination confidential.” As was is the case with all course assignments, the instructor is obligated to report all suspected issues or cases of academic integrity to the Office of Student Academic Integrity (OSAI).
