The abiotic factors will determine what kinds of biotic factors will be present. For example, all living things need water, sunlight, and oxygen. Without these three elements, no animals or plants can survive. d. How do these factors compare with those in other types of ecosystems (biomes)? These factors are also an important elements in other types of ecosystems. For example, plants need sunlight for Photosynthesis. They also need water. 2.
