Please respond to this required discussion by including the following: • Weekly schedule for clinical. • Using your clinical competency checklist to guide you, please share your clinical goal ... s for the week. • Do you anticipate barriers or opportunities specific to your clinical site and/or preceptor? Dr. Exantus and classmates, My required clinical hours are completed and my logs have all been approved/completed; therefore, I plan to work on my clinical competency checklist and fill in the dates that correspond with each competency. Also this week and next week, I will be conducting my final evaluation on my preceptor and will be verifying that my preceptor completes the evaluation on me as well. I do anticipate barriers that since I am not physically in the clinic with my preceptor, then it might take longer to retrieve this information. Also, my preceptor is extremely busy since changing over to a new EMR system this month. I’m still trying to find a preceptor for next session so I can get enrolled in the next course. Anyone have any leads for potential practicum sites in Arkansas? Thanks in advance.
