Describe the Enhanced producibility basic skills trainer (EPBST) - ✔✔Consists of a student
station and an instructor station. The EPBST utilizes a simulated command launch unit (SCLU)
and an MSR. The EPBST runs scenarios through the SCLU to test the gunner's skills and the
instructor can watch the students actions through a computer screen.
Describe the Missile Simulated Round (MSR) - ✔✔The MSR consists of a sealed launch tube
that contains no instruments or circuitry. Simulates the weight of a round, and teaches students
how to handle a round.
Describe the Field Tactical Trainer (FTT) - ✔✔The FTT is a fully integrated, three dimensional
training device that uses the CLU, the simulation round (SR) and the instructor station.
The SR incorporates the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement system (MILES) laser
transmitter to allow Javelin engagements during training exercises. The FTT is designed to
simulate the operation and engagement parameters of the Javelin.

target image for the gunner. It consists of the NVS lens, DDC, CLU status display, Flipper
Mirror, and eyepiece.

used to perform direct support or higher-level maintenance actions
