4-year-old boy presents to the clinic with leaking stool 2-3 times a day with abdominal pain for the past 3 weeks. Nothing aggravates or alleviates the symptoms. Patient also has history of stomach hu ... rting occasionally and hard pebble stool in the past 2 years. Stool was q 4-5 days. Abdominal pain 2-4/10. He also reports straining while defecation and the pain was relieved after defecation. Last stool was 5 days ago and was hard. The patient has not received any treatment because it seems to go away on its own.
