Test Partnership Numerical Reasoning Test 4 Solutions Booklet AssessmentDay Practice Aptitude Tests Instructions This numerical reasoning test comprises 18 questions, and you will have 60 second... s per question. Calculators are permitted for this test, and it is recommended you have some rough paper to work on. This example test has two subtests. The first subtest assesses your ability to perform numerical calculations and the second subtest assesses your ability to make decisions based on numerical data. This first subtest comprises nine questions and you will have 60 seconds to answer each question. This subtest measures your ability to interpret numerical information and perform calculations. You will be presented with short numerical problems, requiring a number of calculations to solve. For each question you will be presented with five possible options, only one of which is correct. You will need a calculator and some rough paper to complete this subtest. You will have to work quickly and accurately to perform well in this test. If you don't know the answer to a question, leave it and come back to it if you have time. Each question will have five possible answers, one of which is correct. If the exact correct answer is not provided, select the closest possible answer. You may click Back and Next during the test to review or skip questions. You can submit your test at any time. If the time limit is up before you click submit the test will automatically be submitted with the answers you have selected. It is recommended to keep working until the time limit is up. Try to find a time and place where you will not be interrupted during the test. The test will begin on the next page. For personal use only. If an individual consumed three cups of tea, two cups of coffee and 1 energy drink per day, by how much does this exceed the weekly recommended allowance of caffeine? (assume that the weekly recommended allowance of caffeine is 1,400mg) (A) 765 mg (B) 777 mg (C) 787 mg (D) 797 mg (E) 807 mg Step 1 – Calculate the total daily caffeine intake of the individual by multiplying the number of drinks by their respective caffeine contents and then combining them to identify the total. Tea = 35 mg x 3 = 105 mg Coffee = 63 mg x 2 = 126 mg Energy drink = 80 mg x 1 = 80 mg 105 mg + 126 mg + 80 mg = 311 mg Step 2 – Calculate the weekly caffeine intake by multiplying the daily total by the number of days in a week (7). 311 mg x 7 = 2,177 mg Step 3 – Calculate the surplus caffeine intake by subtracting the total weekly caffeine intake from the recommended daily allowance of caffeine (1400 mg). 2,177 mg – 1,400 mg = 777 mg Thus the correct answer is (B) 777 mgFor personal use only. Of these 120,050 customers, 24% opened their email, ¼ followed the link in the email and 35% of customers following the link made a purchase. If the advertised product costs £9.99, how much revenue was generated by this email marketing campaign? (A) £25,184.79 (B) £26,458.21 (C) £27,655.36 (D) £28,658.32 (E) £29,321.58 [Show More]
