This document provides an update on the appeal decision in State v. Christopher Bolden. The Connecticut Appellate Court affirmed Bolden’s convictions for evading responsibility and tampering with ph ... ysical evidence. The court found sufficient evidence that Bolden concealed the SUV to hinder investigation and failed to report its location to police. The appellate court also upheld the trial judge’s decision not to answer jury questions about the vehicle’s movement, noting the defense did not object at the time. Although the appellate decision did not alter the outcome, a Petition for Certification has been filed with the Connecticut Supreme Court to challenge the ruling.
