I Will Find You is a standalone thriller novel by Harlan Coben, published on March 14, 2023, about a father who breaks out of a maximum-security prison to find his son, whom he believes to be alive despite having been convicted of his murder.

Plot Summary

David Burroughs is serving a life sentence for the brutal murder of his three-year-old son, Matthew. He has accepted his fate and guilt, even though he knows he didn't commit the crime. Five years into his imprisonment, his ex-sister-in-law, Rachel, visits him with a photograph taken at a theme park that has a boy in the background who looks exactly like Matthew.

Convinced his son is alive, David plans a harrowing escape from prison with the help of his former sister-in-law and his best friend, a police sergeant. He becomes a fugitive, pursued by FBI agents, as he works to uncover the truth about what really happened the night of his son's disappearance. The investigation reveals deep family secrets, powerful and wealthy individuals determined to keep the truth hidden, and a complex web of lies involving an old crime family and fertility clinics.
