The quest: Bird's life is disrupted when he receives a mysterious letter containing only a cryptic drawing of cats, a reference to a folktale his mother used to tell him. This drawing sparks a dangerous quest to find her, leading him through an underground network of heroic librarians and into a deeper understanding of the world's injustices.
