Problem: How are the three major forms of Bacteria play an important part different and what are the effects of in our everyday existence. Their role in antibiotics on the growth of bacteria. Goals 1. To identify bacteria cell forms from a prepared slide. 2. To classify bacteria according to their shapes and groupings. 3. To identify and classify bacteria colony characteristics on a Petri dish. 4. To investigate bacterial growth from different environments. On the other hand, the bacteria that are pathogenic (disease-causing) leave in their wake illness and death. Bacteria are classified by their shape and the way they group together. Some of the names may sound familiar to you. For example, their shape dictates if they are a coccus (spherical), bacillus (rod), or spirillum (spiral).
