I was able to figure out what was going wrong and call the Physician for more orders. Scenario Analysis Questions1 EBP/I What risk factors did you identify in Fatime Sanogo’s case that could have led to postpartum hemorrhage? A large baby, Large laceration, use of Oxytocin, prolonged labor. EBP List the actions that should be initiated if administering oxytocin is ineffective. Steps to decrease bleeding, and preventing shock. Bolusing of fluids as well as contacting the physician for additional medications. If there is large blood loss and the patient is showing signs of shock a rapid response should be called and patient transferred.
