WR/OL- Students will recite the Nursery Rhyme Little Miss Muffet they will identify words with
identical endings and categorize the words according to their word families
R/LA/L- the teacher will conduct a read along of the book Cat in the Hat students will read along
with the teacher
GA/L- the class will chorally read If you give a Mouse a Cookie
W/LA/A- Students will write in their journals about the main character and the one event that took
place in the story If you give a Mouse a Cookie and draw a picture of the mouse
M/GA- Teacher will divide the students into pairs and each group will receive a game board and deck
of cards. The deck of cards will be placed on the game board each student will take turn drawing
cards and placing the card on either the ones, tens or hundreds box,
MA/ W When all of the boxes on the game board have been filled the teacher will have students write
in their math journals the largest numbers and smallest numbers they can create using three of the
numbers from the game board.
S/ L- The students will create a graphic organizer to compare and contrast weather in two different
states.
SS/A – Students will create a map of their neighborhood each map would be designed as a square.
Student’s home will be the center of the map. On the map the students will create a legend which will
have symbols that represent homes and streets.
Mo/PE- Students will gather for circle time to discuss the words that rhyme in Little Miss Muffet
DA- Students having trouble with math will use IPAD
H- Students will receive lesson on the importance of brushing teeth twice a day
