How ... do the settings in the Inferno reveal Dante's opinions about justice? In your analysis, discuss at least two settings the character Dante encounters inside Hell. Dante's hell is well organized but it is imaginative and inventive for his time. The hell reflects the way Dante sees the sins and how to punish them. The hell for him is like a large metropolis, with rings of suburbs surrounding an inner city, and each ring is a circle of Hell. Each circle represents a specific type of sin and they become graver the closer you get to the ninth( the last) circle. His view about justice is that God's( the judje) punishments are both logical and fair, and the structure of hell represents that idea. In one of the settings, Dante describes the ambient and people being punished for the gluttony.
