After completing the “Research Analysis Exercise”, explain how the article can be used to understand the social problems presented. Which part of the analysis did you struggle with the most? Why? ... Explain whether or not the journal article provided any contextual factors that have influenced the social problem the article was about. Good evening Professor and Classmates, I found this article very interesting but none of it was surprising to me at all. The article can be used to help us understand the social problem the was presented as it attempts to determine the underlying failure of support systems that have helped contribute to this social problem. The article showed differences between short-term and long-term programs, the one thing that I do agree with is the success of short-term programs. Individuals who are homeless because of natural causes are quicker to bounce back then those who have been homeless for longer periods of time. Most of those individuals are homeless because of choices that they made. This subject matter is something that hit close to home, I have never been homeless but as a veteran that still lives in a military area. I see many veterans that are homeless, most of them are due to being dependent on some kind of drug, which range from alcohol to cocaine. Majority of them have been homeless for a very long time and they are actually okay with it. Anthony [Show More]
