ASSESSMENT CHANGES for 2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
Due to the ministerial request to extend the 2021 registration dates, Unisa had to amend both
the semester dates and the assessment arrangements for the 2021 academic year.
During 2021 we will have only one semester and only one tuition and assessment period.
The purpose of this TL001 is to inform you of the new assessment requirements for module
AUE2601 for students registered during 2021 for the one semester period.

Please submit your assignments electronically via myUnisa. For detailed information on and
requirements for assignments, see the brochure, Study @ Unisa, which you received with
your study material.
Note: Assignment 2 should be submitted in PdF on myUnisa. The PDF file should NOT
be submitted as “Read only”, as it can then not be marked.
To submit an assignment via myUnisa:
Go to myUnisa.
Log in using your student number and password.
Select the module from the orange bar.
Click on Assignments in the left-hand menu.
Click on the assignment number you want to submit.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Please ensure that assignments reach the university before the due date – late submission
of Assignment 1 or Assignment 2 will result in you not being admitted to the
examination.
PLEASE NOTE: You must submit Assignment 1 or Assignment 2 in order to be admitted to
the examination. However, both Assignments 1 and 2 contribute towards your year mark. No
extension of the due dates can be given by lecturers for these assignments.
