Examination of Descriptive Statistics Qualitative Data The qualitative data can give contains some goo information pertaining to the population of hospitals. From this sample of 200 hospitals the largest region sampled is the Midwest and south with 30% and 28 % respectively. The southwest had lowest amount of hospitals in the sample making up only 3%. In the sample 43% of the healthcare organizations were nongovernment, not for profit entities. General medical facilities make up majority of the healthcare entities in the sampling accounting for 84% of the organizations. A 95% confidence interval was constructed to estimate the population proportion of hospitals that are “general medical”.
