Hydroponic farming is one of the modern methods which can help increase food security; this system only requires the use of water with mineral nutrients needed by the plant and does not utilize soil for growth. The farming method is a good way of increasing access to food and also increases production in a time when farming has become a challenge to farmers especially in Africa where food security is a problem.
