Lives alone in a two-story house with pet dog, Renny. Primary Medical Diagnosis: Degenerative hip disease (right) Pathophysiology: The cartilage that serves as a cushion in the joints deteriorates over time. This can cause stiffness, limited ROM, loss of flexibility, swelling and weakness. This condition can affect any joint but most commonly affects knees, hips, hands and spine.
