How did you go about selecting a topic for the research paper? After devoting eight weeks to this topic throughout the course, do you still find this topic interesting? If so, what further areas wit... hin this topic would you like to know more about? There were a number of topics that I found interesting and wanted to write about. However, I chose No Child Left Behind Act because it has been so popular in the media recently and I’ve always wanted to learn more on the topic. After devoting eight weeks to the No Child Left Behind Act I grew to find the topic even more interesting. The beginning process was a bit overwhelming because of the many goals and opinions. I would like to learn more about the No Child Left Behind Act and its implementation on a state level. I look forward to learning more of its connection to the common core curriculum and how we can make changes to the act to assure total success for students, parents, teachers, and schools. Reflect upon the research skills you have developed throughout this class. What key takeaways have you learned regarding research strategies? In my reflecting upon research skills developed this course; I have learned to gather scholar information to strengthen my arguments. I have learned that APA is very precise and necessary in college level writings. I’ve also learned that I have a lot to learn and perfect in my journey of becoming a stronger writer.
