HCA 255 Regulatory and Policy Essay In the United States of America, there are agencies whose jobs are to implement, enforces, and oversee the health care organizations are following the rules an... d regulations made at all levels of government. Also, one of the most current health policies in Arizona is Senate Bill 1321, Health Information Organizations. The bill was passed 2019 and signed into law by Governor Douglas Ducey and says that all health care organizations can disclose medical records and information according to federal and state law, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), and that individuals with or whom get a communicable disease is not required to disclose or be forced except as authorized by state or federal laws, as well as HIPAA (Carter, 2019).
