NR 661 APN Capstone Practicum - syllabus NR 661 APN Capstone Practicum - syllabus Hello, everyone. Welcome, to the course that will help you prepare to become a great leader and explore your role as ... a nurse practitioner. I am Dr. Michelle Paul, and I will be your instructor and the facilitator for this course. You can call me Dr. P. if you would prefer. I am originally from a tiny island of “calypso” called Trinidad & Tobago, but have resided in Miami since 1993. I have been a nurse since 1998, and a Nurse practitioner since 2006. My decision to become a nurse started many years ago when I still lived in Trinidad and was caring for my ailing grandmother. Let me tell you that it has been the best decision of my life! My nursing career stareed many years ago with an Associate’s Degree from Miami Dade Community College. I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus, from Barry University, FL. I am a board certified FNP through ANCC. My last and greatest educational achievement was a Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. [Show More]
