Louis Khan is an architect known for his distinct style of architecture. Khan created a style of building that was both monolithic and monumental. His style of architecture did not comprise of the ext ... ravagant nature that is the hallmark of several re known and famous architects. The buildings he came up with were heavy and meticulously done. The reason he could not come up with extravagant buildings is the economic situation of the time. His early professional life was during the economic depression with few buildings were commissioned. After the Second World War khan changed his style after touring many ancient sites in Egypt, Greek and Italy. The style he came up with incorporated Greek, roman and medieval architecture.
