Are there any capital projects or initiatives being considered by the Executive which need to be considered in any future asset planning? Draft a paper describing the link between the facility and corporate strategy, as standalone initially to get support and input from the Executive. onfirm any parameters related to your strategy: e.g. budget, politics, timing constraints, etc. Determine the priority for work applying risk management principles – e.g. risk to safety, revenue. Try to get the cost profiles to match the parameters and meet priorities by carrying out various scenarios on your model When you get the numbers to balance you write up the decisions you made and this forms the basis of your strategy. Define KPIs which reflect your strategy. Activities You would probably be well aware of these parameters but it might help to discuss them with senior management to see what flexibility may exist to help with your strategy development.
