PHY 114 Lab Report 5: DC Circuits: Electric Power. Arizona State University.ABSTRACT: The goal of this lab was to use a DC circuity with varying internal resistances to figure out find the optimal ... load resistance that would have the best power output. A circuit was set to test this, and 2 separate tests were made. One tested where the internal resistance is gradually increased to match the load resistance, the other has a set intermediate resistance. The efficiency of the set ups are 91.587% and 50.907% respectively. It becomes clear that a circuit is significantly more effective when the internal resistance matches the load resistance.
