Performance Assessment: Technological Globalization - EOA2 Lee’s and Gourmet is a domestic company established in 1970, a sweet way to bring people together. As the Chief Information Officer (CIO)... of Lee’s and Mary’s Gourmet Ice cream company. One of the requirement is that CIO provides recommendations for changes to the five (5) years globalization plan for the company. The information provided by the Chief Executive Officer of the version of the international markets of Great Britain and Western Europe. The information transferred was that there is a $20,000,000 budget available for the development of implementations on the company’s technology infrastructure, processes, and systems to support the expansion. There are different types of technologies currently being used by Lee’s and Mary’s Gourmet Ice cream company. Although these technologies have worked in the past for the company, the existing technologies will not be able to support the company now that they have decided to go global. Some of these systems currently being utilized by the company need to be updated and possibly replaced the order to the needs of the growing company. The technologies currently being used by the company are; the enterprise resource planning (ERP) for the Data Center, the customer relationship management system (CRM), and point of sale system (POS). These technologies may have worked effectively before the company’s expansion. However, since the recent expansion, these technologies capabilities that fueled its domestic growth needs to improve or replace so that they can accommodate and better serve the international marketplace.
