About This Assignment Each of the practical lessons that you complete this month covers a handful of topics and gives you a guided walkthrough of implementing the proper nodes. This assignment is a ... little bit different. It challenges you to solve many problems. It’s bigger than the other assignments and doesn’t offer you quite as much guidance. To offset the greater challenge, you get two full weeks to work on it. The Mega Assignment evaluates whether you have learned enough to move on to the next scripting course. The suggested approach for tackling this assignment is to take it one part at a time. Each Blueprint that you have to work in has been created for you and has been divided up into commented sections. Ideally, you’ll fill in each section and test to make sure your code compiles and runs properly. When you complete each Blueprint, you’ll be able to play-test your code in the editor and see that it works properly. Creating Your Assignment Download ITP_MegaProject.zip. Create a new folder called LastName_FirstName_ITP_MegaProject. Instead of LastName and FirstName, use your actual last name and preferred first name. Take special note of where your new folder is. You’ll need to be able to get back to it later. Unzip the contents of ITP_MegaProject.zip into your new folder. Double-click on ITP_MegaProject.uproject to open it. Click the green triangle to Play in the Editor. You should be able to run up the hill; however, when you reach the teleporter, nothing will happen. You need to get to the end of the obstacle course, but each of the obstacles is broken and you have to fix it before you can move on. Each Blueprint has most of the wiring already installed in it. You need to figure out what nodes to add and hook up to the existing wires to make each Blueprint work again.
