Healthy pe... ople 2020 provides a set of over 1,200 objectives/goals where data is taken over certain high-priority health issues. “Leading Health Indicators” can be described as a small subset of chosen objectives, which are looked at closely and organized into other groups. For example, data taken from these indicators can address several topics, such as fewer adults smoking cigarettes, increase in adult physical activity, and fewer kids using illicit drugs.  What is the CDC, where is it located, what is its mission, purpose, and what does it do? The CDC is the Center of Disease and Control. Their mission involves keeping America safe from health threats, foreign and domestic The CDC researches disease and viruses in order to save lives and protect our country from attack.  Conduct a Google search of the CDC, NIH, WHO, AHRQ and compare location mission, purpose and what do they do? The NIH is the National Institute of Health and they are made of different components of health which has their own specific research, research focusing on specific diseases or parts of the body. WHO is the World Health Organization and their purpose is to address global health issues as well as proving solutions and research. The AHRQ stands for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, this organization provides many tools. Such as funding, unique research, and certain programs for the public. All of these organizations have a job to improve the quality of our health, globally and here in America.
