mothers and explain why those features entertain. Explain why this is important to the zulily model.
Features I find entraining especially to mothers is there amount of sales that are posted everywhere.
Some sales are as high as 80% off. They have a section called last chance, which puts pressure on the
buyers and most likely enables them to purchase certain items right away especially with the discounts
on them as well. This is important to zulily business model because there whole model is around sale
items and discounts. Using the term curated sale for bigger deals and products groped together by
experts. Also its last chance section is what makes a big hit too most likely because its items that are
almost out of stock, so women will be in a rush to buy them before its out of stock.
1-10. Go to Nordstrom.com and shop for children’s clothes. How does the zulily shopping experience
differ from that at Nordstrom? Briefly describe the advantages and disadvantages of each type of
experience.
Nordstorm is more plain and in your face like here it is this is what we have and this is our price. There’s
really no joy to the site or excitement. You don’t even see people in the advertisements really, only the
product by itself with a white background. Zulily is more entertaining to browse and with all its sales you
almost want to keep browsing through the site to find more exciting deals unlike nordstorms.
