We are talking about sexual intimacy in this course. From a Christian worldview, how is sexual
intimacy viewed within marriage?
It is viewed as a gift from God that creates a bond between married couples and enriches their
relationship. It is a vital, healthy component of Christian marred life. The Song of Solomon is a biblical
example.
1.Discuss the roles of the professional nurse in reproductive health, maternal, and newborn nursing

Care for women during pregnancy, birth and postpartum as well as the care of infants,
children and adolescents. Nurses who work with families quickly learn a holistic, inclusive
approach is crucial to effective nursing care. Nurses play a major role in minimizing the
psycologic and physical stress experienced by childbearing families and by the children in
their families. The nurse teaches and gives guidance for the changes that each month brings.
The nurse also serves as an advocate. Discharge planning (smooth, rapid and safe transition
into the community).
