Multiple Means of Expression The students will be asked to read, listen, or watch the story “The Princess and the Dragon” by Audrey Wood. If assignments are completed early students may quietly do a pair-share of their comprehension worksheet. Time Needed 15 min Extension Activity and/or Homework Students will be given a sample letter to show them how to write a letter to the princess. They will be given a worksheet with a blank copy, so they can write to the princess and tell her how to be a good princess. Time Needed Rational Reflection The book “The Princess and the Dragon” by Audrey Wood was chosen to capture the interest of all the students in the classroom. All the boys love science and non-fiction genre while the only girl in the class likes nothing but princess stories. I felt like this book would help to satisfy both interests and meet goals for reading comprehension and decoding. [Show More]
