This system is designed to assist and provide support in order to fulfill the needs of mask detector and temperature measurement. In this project, we acquaint a moderate arrangement pointing with increment COVID-19 indoor wellbeing, covering a few significant angles contactless temperature detecting 2) mask detection discovery Contactless temperature detecting subsystem depends on Arduino Uno utilizing infrared sensor or warm camera, while cover identification and social removing check are performed by utilizing PC vision strategies on camera-prepared Raspberry Pi. 4CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT The year 2020 has shown mankind some mind-boggling series of events among-est. which the COVID-19 pandemic is the most life-changing event which has startled the world since the year began. Affecting the health and lives of masses, COVID-19 has called for strict measures to be followed in Order to prevent the spread of disease. From the very basic hygiene standards to the treatments in the hospitals, people are doing all they can for their own and the society’s safety; face masks are one of the personal protective equipment. People wear face masks once they step out of their homes and Authorities strictly ensure that people are wearing face masks while they are in groups and public Places. To monitor that people are following this basic safety principle, a strategy should be developed. A Face mask and temperature detector system can be implemented to check this. Face mask and temperature detection means to identify whether a person is wearing a mask or not and temperature is low or high. The first step to recognize the presence of a mask on the face is to detect the face, which makes the strategy divided into two parts: to detect faces and to detect masks or detect the temperature on those faces. Mask and temperature detection is one of the applications of object detection and can be used in many areas like security, bio metrics, law enforcement and more. There are many detector systems developed around the world and being implemented. However, all this science needs optimization; a better, more precise detector, because the world cannot afford any more increase in corona cases. 1.1 Overview Mask and temperature detection technology uses a Computer Vision algorithm to detect if a person is wearing a face mask while acquiring and analyzing face data before access granted. Besides identifying people wearing masks, security system with this technology is more expeditious, convenient, and reliable in monitoring mask-wearers and passers-by trying accessing the restricted areas. The solution is -flexible and easy for people to deploy. In some situations, face masks are mandatory or even recommended. Access control with mask detection is a simple solution to help reduce the risk of getting infected, and also a good reminder to wear masks before entering the controlling areas. 5• Safer Touch less measurement to avoid physical contact • Faster mask detection in half a second per person • Smarter Detection with Computer Vision, significantly reducing the FAR Mask detection technology is dominant in recognizing and identifying a human face, whether he/she is wearing a face mask.
