It is my understanding after reading the required chapters in our textbook for this module is that ethical relativism is the theory that one action may be morally right in one society but be morally ... wrong in another. Another way for me to define this is by stating certain things may be morally accepted in a culture, or some societies because it is their norm, but the same thing in a different culture is condemned and considered to be wrong because it differs from their norm or practices. In our textbook the definition of Ethical relativisms is that it comes in various forms, but the common thread that binds them together is the idea that what is right and wrong can vary from one person or group of people to another[Jon17].
