Reconnaissance Plan Overview During the reconnaissance phase I will attempt to gather as much intelligence on the target, Haverbrook Investment Group, as possible. This intel is vital to the success... of the penetration test. At the end of this phase I should be able to create a map of the hardware and software used on the targets systems, as well as any notable targets and entry points into the system; such as personnel with higher level system access. Reconnaissance Methods There are multiple methods that I will employ to attempt to gather any Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). The first step will be to utilize multiple search engines to find any documents or data the company stores on the internet, this is known as “google hacking”.
