Describe the Social/Cultural Situation at the company:
Rock Solid Industrial Parts is a family-owned company that is run by family members and friends. Most of
the employees have been working in the company for over 25 years, their average age is 55. The
employees are comfortable with the use of computers but mainly use basic programs such as Excel, they
do not generally use social media platforms of text messaging. In general, most employees are not very
technically savvy, many of them do not even use smart phones. In meetings, the employees and vendors
mostly use a white board and a projector for PowerPoint slides presentations.
