Incident rate assists organizations and senior managers in identifying workplace safety matters. Incident or DART rate is a mathematical computation that describes the number of recordable occurrences per onehundred full-time workers that led to lost job transfers, lost workdays, or restricted workdays because of illnesses and injuries of the workplace. DART considers three various metrics.
