Additionally, application increases retention for later use. Such ability will serve a business owner greatly when creating an organizational plan to shape a business. Being able to do so increases success.”- Knowing who you are or who you can be as a manager/ leader is important. I took the DISC test and found that I am a nuanced combination of the Dominant and the Cautious in my personality.  DOMINANT/DIRECT Behaviors: People who have both Outgoing and Task-oriented traits often focus on problem-solving, and the bottom-line.  INSPIRING/INTERACTIVE Behaviors: People who have both Outgoing and Peopleoriented traits often usually focus on interacting with people, having fun, and/or creating excitement.  SUPPORTIVE/STEADY Behaviors: People who have both Reserved and Peopleoriented traits often exhibit focus preserving relationships and on creating or maintaining peace and harmony.  CAUTIOUS/CAREFUL Behaviors: People who have both Reserved and Task-oriented traits often focuses on facts, rules, and correctness. My Dominant tendencies are more pronounced than my Cautious ones. I take initiative, am focused, use sound reasoning, and analyze situations thoroughly. In terms of personality, I am analytical and like problem-solving more than interacting with people. I'm efficient and methodical in my job, and I much rather focus on a task at hand than chat with random strangers. As a result of learning about the various personality types, I will be able to connect with others more effectively and use that to my advantage when communicating and leading in the workplace. I will make an effort to present my ideas effectively in meetings and projects, and to connect with others in a way that fosters efficiency. The relationships I cultivate with my team will be healthy and effective. The after-effects of my character, I fear, give the impression that I am overbearing in demanding perfection from my employees. I am a results-oriented manager and I demand the same from my team. As I enjoy a good challenge, I count on my team to be able to work well under any constraints we're given. I may come out as tough, but that's only because I've had the time to analyze the situation and consider the potential outcomes and the risks involved in achieving them. As a result, I've learned to tread carefully, and now that I know the strengths and limitations of my team, I can assign tasks accordingly. [Show More]
