"Physical Therapis" ✔✔- person whos is LISCENSED and who practices physical therapy in accordance with the provisions of this chapter "Physical Therapist Assistant" ✔✔-person who is liscensed to perform PATIENT RELATED activities, INCLUDING physical agents. whose liscense is in GOOD standing, and whose activities are performed under the DIRECTION of a physical therapist. - Patient Related activites performed by a PTA for a (Board -certified Orthopedic physician/ physiatrist OR practitioner) shall be under WHAT supervision ... ✔✔GENERAL supervision and should NOT require ON-SITE supervision by a PT . -Patient realted activites performed for v ALL OTHER health care practioners, ✔✔COME BACk TO IT! 'Physical Therapy Practioner" ✔✔- a PT or PTA who is liscensed and who practices PT "Physical Therapy" OR "Physiotherapy" ✔✔each term is deemed identical and interchangeable with each other, means health care or health care profession "Direct Supervision" ✔✔supervision by a PT, EXCEPT in case of emergency, DIRECT SUPERVISION requires the PHYSICAL presence of the liscnesed PT for consultation & direction of the actions of a PT or PTA who is practicing under a TEMPORARY permit & is a candidate for liscensure. "Physical Therapy Assesment" ✔✔-observational, verbal OR manual determinations of the function of the musculoskelectal or neuromuscular system relative to PT. including but not limited to -ROM -MOTOR POWER -POSTURAL ATTRIBUTES -BIOMECHANICAL FUNCTION -LOCOMOTION -FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES for the purpose of making RECCOMENDATIONS for treatment.
