Although, After, As, When, While, Until, Before, Because, If, Since ii. Independent clause 1. CAN stand alone; it is a complete sentence. b. Example: I trust you because you keep my secrets. d. Compound-Complex: At least 2 independent clauses & 1 dependent clause i. WATCH OUT: Don’t just label it C-C because it looks long. ii.
