Experiment 11: Fischer Esterification Purpose Preform a reaction of a carboxylic acid derivative with an alcohol derivative to produce an ester with water. Concentrated Phosphoric acid Risk Statements: Harmful by inhalation, harmful if swallowed, irritating to eyes, irritating to skin.
