The purpose of this paper is to identify and describe what AOL’s competitive advantage was. This paper will determine why and how AOL lost their competitive advantage. This paper will also disclose what could have been done to prevent AOL’s loss of competitive advantage. A detailed description of competitive advantage and its purpose will be provided as a basis for obtaining a better understanding of this paper.
