Many organizations consider the employees are one of the weak threats in information security. The employee can be one of the significant resources for reducing the risk of information security if they follow the rules and regulations which are designed to strengthen information security. Protecting access through the password is also one of the most significant methods that can help an organization to maintain its security. Password authentication has been adopted commonly in the technology environment to protect resources from unauthorized access. There is no paper showing the proper way to create the user awareness of password security. Thus the research shows how the awareness can be created among users and identified the factors that influence the intention to comply with password guideline and password security in terms of strength and length
