An old femal... e Asian named Mrs. Wong who is 59 years of age had complaints of increasing fatigues over the past 12 weeks. So, she was advised to follow up to the clinic after 3 months. She had also reported after her menopause she had experienced a gradual increased her weight 4 years ago. Her symptoms started 3 months ago, so she tried to reduce her weight by doing exercise and lifting weights twice a week, but she was unsuccessful. The purpose of this paper is to examine the analysis of the subjective and objective findings that was collected to diagnose and create a management plan for Mrs. Wong. In this paper we will discuss the assessment of the primary diagnosis, secondary diagnosis, and the differential diagnoses for Mrs. Wong. We will also make management plan for the treatment of above stated diagnosis. It will consist of the diagnostics, medications, patient education, some referrals, and the follow-up of the whole procedure. This paper will also include the discussion on medication costs incurred on the prescribed medicines and over the counter (OTC) medications. Assessment Mrs. Wong came to the clinic with her new concerns, she had been experiencing fatigue over the past two months and she was unable to lose weight with exercise, and weight lifting twice a week and that increased her hunger also. The morning blood was drawn, and UA was done. Per lab result diagnostic test showed urine analysis positive for glucose, elevated total cholesterol, decreased low-high density lipoprotein. HbA1c is 6.6%. According to Cash and Glass (2017), fasting blood glucose measurement greater than 126 and HbA1c 6.5% is assumed diabetic.
